Interactive Panel Discussion:
The central feature of this event is the "Deep Dive Q&A" session. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to submit their "deepest, darkest, most confidential" questions when registering for the event, providing a safe space to seek advice on challenges and concerns they might not feel comfortable asking/discussing elsewhere. These questions will be curated and presented to our panel during the event.

Ellie Quinti - Client Services Director, VML Perth

A Perth local, Ellie combines 20+ years of both marketing and agency experience across various industries and brands, bringing a unique perspective to her role as Client Services Director at VML Perth.

She has prior experiences leading marketing teams and brands at JLL, Vicinity Centres, 303MullenLowe, IKEA, BankWest, Red Rooster and Peters & Brownes and is also a board member at AWESOME Arts, a not-for-profit arts organisation that provides opportunities for children, no matter their background, to experience the arts.

Ellie has a knack for pulling people together and loves helping to foster great client and agency partnerships. She is passionate about seeing brands reach their full potential and helping to guide organisations to get back to basics on their planning.

When she’s not at work, Ellie loves cooking for friends and family, walking her dog Alfie, reading a good book or attempting to convince herself that she really enjoys gardening.

Matt Popkes - Head of Strategy, The Brand Agency

Matt leads a talented team of specialists in brand and campaign development, content and communications strategy, market research and experience design.

Having built and led strategy teams across two countries over two decades, Matt brings a wide range of experience in leading digital strategy initiatives for global brands in footwear, QSR, technology and healthcare. He serves as an advisory group member for university marketing departments in both Australia and the US, helping shape curriculum with real industry experience.

Originally from Portland, OR USA (Go Blazers), Matt’s drive is the constant growth and evolution of what an agency strategy team is capable of. In addition to strong takes on digital strategy, he’s your go-to for talking NBA basketball and punk rock music.

Monica Moore - Founder/Director & Senior HR Advisor, Monday HR

Monica has been in HR for over nine years and has a passion for helping business owners get the people piece right. She has held a variety of HR roles in both consulting and internal capacities.

Over her career, Monica has had the opportunity to lead large-scale HR transformation projects and operate as a trusted and strategic adviser to leadership teams in WA.

With over 7 years of consulting experience, Monica describes herself as a true HR generalist. She enjoys the ‘black and white’ side of HR involving compliance, legislation, due diligence and process. She equally enjoys creative workshops, employee experience design and system automation.

Monica founded Monday HR in 2019 to offer fast-growing businesses a new and refreshed way to access HR expertise.

Monica has an undergraduate degree in communications and a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from RMIT. She also holds qualifications in leadership coaching, personality assessments, and return-to-work.

René Migliore - Managing Director, 303 MullenLowe Perth

René brings over 25 years’ experience in advertising and media roles in Perth and Melbourne. He has a 14-year history with 303 over two stints, leaving in 2013 when he was Head of Business Management, then returning in 2017 as General Manager of Mediahub, the media agency in the group. René had made the switch to media when he joined Initiative as Client Lead primarily on RAC media.

As MD at 303, René looks for any way he can to support the team in delivering exceptional creative, media and business outcomes for clients, with a particular passion for health and behaviour change work.

An active participant of the industry, René has been an AdSchool lecturer, an Oasis committee member, is the Patron of PADC and fun-fact, was the inaugural Youngbloods Committee Chair when it kicked off in WA.
